“As a fisherman who loves to get out and enjoy days and nights fishing, this idea came to me a few years ago. Simply a torch in my hand out for a beach night fish. Holding the torch in my hand at the butt of the rod and the torch just lit up the rod and line. I thought ‘wow, that’s cool!’. From this idea I made a prototype, trialled it in northern WA, and it worked better than expected. After getting an innovation patent, having it developed and manufactured is what you see here.”
